Welcome to the NASC’s dedicated scaffolding industry careers website. On this site you will find information on a wide variety of careers and also the very latest vacancies to join NASC member companies.
This website has been created by the NASC, the access and scaffolding trade body for the UK, as part of its commitment to bringing more people into the industry.
Many people working in senior management positions at NASC member companies have risen through the ranks. As such, they are more invested than most in the culture of mentoring more staff (including scaffolders) to help them follow their footsteps, progressing into management and support roles, irrespective of their academic achievements.
It’s what people know and what they can do that matters – aptitude and attitude are probably the most essential skills in the industry.
The NASC also promotes the role of women and people from minority backgrounds in our industry. These groups are sorely under-represented across the whole construction sector and acutely so within scaffolding. These groups bring different skills, perspectives, ideas and different methods of communicating that demonstrate invaluable social skills.
The NASC is also increasing inclusion by encouraging young people into the scaffolding industry through attendance at school assemblies, careers fairs and bespoke events in partnership with key stakeholders. These events serve to demonstrate the wide range of careers that are available within scaffolding and to raise the profile of the industry at large as well as the NASC and its members.
The NASC is the trade body for access and scaffolding in the UK. But what does that entail? Find out more by watching the video below.
As well as the careers information here, you can find all the latest scaffolding news, events and articles over on our main site.
