Contracts Coordinator

Role: The role is to ensure continuation of a first-class service and ensuring quality workmanship on all projects, giving support and advice on transport, labour, materials and site support. Ensuring Risk Assessment & Method Statements (RAMS), Scaffold Design Drawings Hand overs, Off Hire Certificates, etc. are all in place.

Responsibilities: Responsible for all aspects of Contracts administration in particular, liaison between clients, supervisors and scaffolders. As well as:

  • Communication of contract requirements to scaffolders on a day to day basis.
  • Front line phone contact between office and clients.
  • Booking in of erection and dismantle of scaffolds in conjunction with the supervisors.
  • Forward programming of workload in relation to labour resources.
  • Administration of scaffolder attendance and working hours in a conjunction with accounts department.
  • Administration of Transport including Drivers Hours and Vehicle Checks.
  • Administration of PPE issues and inspections.
  • Administration and recording of incidents, accidents and near misses.

Key skills: Strong organisational ability, commercial awareness, strong client liaison skills, project management and team leadership. An extensive understanding of the construction industry, flexibility and a talent for negotiation.
